Carlo Ancelotti, Bayern coach
The tie will be special for me. We have a lot of confidence and want to win the Champions League this season. I think we have the ability to beat Real Madrid, but they have a fantastic team with a fantastic coach. It will come down to details.
Philipp Lahm, Bayern captain
It's a real European classic. I've had some interesting battles with Real Madrid over the years, both at home and in Madrid. It'll be nice to be able to play at the Bernabéu once more as the atmosphere's always great there.
Xabi Alonso, Bayern midfielder
Wow! It'll be a great quarter-final between two clubs with great history. It's perhaps the most difficult draw we could've got, but any quarter-final match is difficult. Of course it's particularly special for me.

Zinédine Zidane, Madrid coach
I learned in Madrid that you need to win everything. Bayern? Good. At this stage of the competition there are no easy games. They're a hard opponent, a very good one, but they're the side we got – there's nothing we can do.
