Popular Yoruba Actress, Moji Olaiya Dies @42
Few weeks after the death of two prominent Yoruba actors, Olumide Bakare and Pastor Ajidara, another popular Yoruba Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya has died of cardiac arrest in Canada.
Moji, daughter of Nigeria's high life music legend, Victor Olaiya, was confirmed dead barely two months after welcoming her second child in Canada, just a few months after she officially divorced her first husband to remarry another one.
A close family source claimed the 42-year-old actress might be buried in Canada as her aged mother lives in Nigeria and its a taboo in Yoruba land to see the corpse of one’s child.
Moji’s first marriage crashed in 2008, and the Yoruba actress decided to remarry last year at a quiet ceremony in Nigeria. She became more popular with Wale Adenuga's production Super Story in the 90's. Before her death, she featured in several Nollywood movies of Yoruba and English genres
